EXAMS & CERTIFICATES
The Institut français de Cote d’Ivoire is an examination centre for a wide range of recognised diplomas and certificates attesting to candidates’ French language skills for professional, academic or personal reasons.
DIPLOMAS
DELF / DALF
The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education, certifying the level of fluency of the French language for adults, teenagers and children.
DAEFLE
DAEFLE (Diplôme d’aptitude à l’enseignement de Français langue étrangère), awarded by the CNED (National Centre for Distance Learning) and the Alliance Française de Paris, certifies the ability to teach French as a foreign language.
EXAMS
TEF naturalisation
The TEF is compulsory for those wishing to acquire French or Swiss citizenship. It certifies the level of French spoken and written (limited professional use – B1).
TCF : Test of general knowledge of French
The TCF is a test designed for non-native speakers of French who wish to assess and certify their level of French in order to study in France.
TEFAQ and TCF QuébecTEFAQ and TCF Québec are designed to assess the French language skills of people wishing to immigrate to Québec. TEF Canada and TCF CanadaTEF Canada and TCF Canada have been designed to assess the level of French proficiency of an audience that is considering immigration to Québec or Canadian citizenship.

DELF / DALF
Ces examens s’adressent aux adolescents (à partir de 16 ans), étudiants, adultes, personnes ayant pour objectif l’obtention d’un diplôme de français langue étrangère en vue notamment d’une insertion ou d’une promotion professionnelle en France ou en milieu francophone.
